I cannot be happy about my art without external validation.
I draw, and it is fun, sure! And that is good, because I only draw for fun. A hobby. But I can never enjoy or be happy about my drawings without external validation. I post a drawing on an appropriate thread, and obsessively refresh it every 10 minutes to see a reply, any reply. Often I get nothing, and then it feels worthless, and I too, feel worthless. I don't want it to be like this. How do I learn to enjoy art without external validation? After all, I do this for fun so it should not be like this.
