I've been looking at new monitors for a while now, but the Asus ProArt PA279CV I ordered won't come in stock, so it can't get shipped...
It's not available in other stores either, so it's not like I can switch to another store that has it, either.
So, in fear that I may have to wait forever, I've been looking at maybe cancelling the order and getting another monitor.
Thing is, I've asked in /g/ for a while now, within /pcbg/, and I've only gotten conflicting answers (of the few I have gotten), and it's incredibly difficult for me to choose when I don't have that much of an idea of monitors and panels.
So far, my options here are:
>Keep waiting for the PA279CVCancel order and get either:
>PA278?V (most notable difference is 1440p instead of 4k)>Benq PD2700U>Whatever else you have to suggest, so long as it doesn't cost me a limb, and it's an equalI had certain requirements in mind:
1440p or above, 27" preferred, can go lower, but not higher, 100x100 VESA, won't kill an Arctic X1-3d stand, nice display
Usage:
Art, and I mean all visual stuff you could think of, passive second monitor when gayming (Already have my high refresh rate for that job), and media consumption
Essentially, I got my gaming screen, but I want a visual screen. The kind where you make pretty pictures on.
Some say the Benq is fine, the others panic, some say that the 1440p is fine, others say to not compromise... Like, god damn, it's difficult to make up my mind.
Don't worry about specs, those are modern and fine.
