>>5799825I agree. I don't know what it is about modern anime that makes it look soulless and generic but their flat, symmetrical designs and budget animation, combined with their over saturated colour palette really turns me off from trying anything.
There are exceptions sure but too far and few are willing to try anything really interesting enough to push the medium forward.
