>>5799791Going back to stories (because they'll affect how oyu see your character), our culture right now is collectively getting lost up it's own asshole. Worldbuilding is not inherently a good thing.
If you want a story that feels like Final Fantasy, literally just don't think about it. Things are there because they feel like they should be there. No one on this earth cares about the evolutionary history of the Bangaa.
If you want a story that feels like New Vegas or Morrowind, Think of all sorts of logistics. This will make the story drier, but that's not bad, it just means it's drier. It feels like it has a much slower pace.
>>5798462Main body is this unbroken mass of blue, give her a pocket or quilting or more breast definition or something. You can also break it up with something on her shoulders like a scarf or short cape or her hair. Or a necklace.
>>5798464I get the impression this character is scary- her face reminds me of a kabuki mask (it's the checks on her cheek). Make her eyes more fierce.
I don't understand the significance of all the elements together. She looks like she's held up by marionette strings, her dress has jester and circus signamancy, her face looks like a kabuki mask, and she's either holding a card or one of those Japanese magic scroll things. Writing it out they all sound related but it didn't click.
>>5798468This is actually fine.
>>5798517I agree with this anon, but my version is that every idea you include in a story contributes a bit to the overall feel. Industrial hellscapes, trashworlds and Gears of War all convey slightly different emotions despite all being post apocalyptic.
