John K. may have partially caused the recent, drastic decline in quality of cartoons, but only because young animators saw his rebellious, rule-breaking style and didn't understand it was still based on the same fundies and principles as the old Disney stuff.
Thankfully, as much as I despise the SJW sensibilities of the most recent cartoons, it looks like they've brought back 3D shapes and fundies and that pleases me. Maybe in another 10-20 years once the "social justice" fad has blown over and things have returned to normal, cartoons will be good again, who knows.
