Also, you may want to look for galleries around you. In my city, they don't seem to know how to properly handle/be confident enough to sell realistic art/art with decent technique, but this may be a personal biais.
A dude like Andrew Tischler did received lots of valid advises/criticisms by a gallery owner he later interviewed on his YouTube channel.
Basically, if you want to make money, then you have to think not just like an artist, but as a salesman. You have to find customers, understand the market, make sure what you have to offer meet some existing (or at least potentially existing) demand, etc.
