Honestly I don’t see how anime has gotten the rep of being far superior to western styles in every way.

I could show any random person several western shows and comics and they’d be able to tell you that they are different and unique, but unless your super into weebshit you’d probably think they were the same.

Anime started as a fairly primitive copy of some of the first Disney animations and has changed very little since its inception, while western animation and comics are now incredibly varied and visually interesting. Japan doesn’t know how to be original
