GMI isn't about trying to git gud, its about just wanting to constantly improve.
I'd look at pic rel (which was literally whatever was on my twitter front page when I opened it), and say its good. It doesn't mean that's where I want to stop in my hypothetical art career, but its what I look at currently and think is well drawn or has stylization I like.
Naturally if I was at this level already, I'd want to improve even further, but that doesn't mean that by itself its "bad" just because it could be "better". Focus on perfectionism is more of an indication of NGMI. There's a reason there's a common saying of "perfect is the enemy of good", you don't need to be perfect to produce something that can and will be used, and constantly focusing on making every little thing perfect means you'll never have anything, because being perfect is too time consuming and resource intensive that its impractical to ever do.
