i thought his redline made it pretty obvious. go and look at how shadows form on cylinders and then look back at the shadows you've drawn on the lower body. you will see that it's completely different.

even if you want to change the shadows, the shadow design should still make it clear that it's on a cylinder. sometimes one has to cheat reality a little when it comes to light to make your drawing look convincing.

Yeah it's way too flat in the legs, they have no form no substance. Only shapes, flatness. You need to rework them, the redline given to you was actually a solid suggestion of how the form should be turning.
