Here are my cons.
Working simultaneously on PC and ipad is a nightmare. I'm working on something that requires a lot of back and forth and icloud or google drive etc. are all a pain in my ass (I'm drawing assets and assembling them in photoshop).
Now, the other caveat to the ipad + procreate is- at 8k you get 4 layers to work with... 4... it's basically impossible to build up a complex multi layered image at that resolution, which means snipping parts into new files, flattening things but saving their old layers in other files and of course doing the assembly on PC which goes back to my first point.

All in all it's great for casual practice and if you can stomach the eco system and frustrations I think it's the best solution if you need to be on your toes in your home and can't be planted to a desk. For me, I have an old dog who can't do stairs to my office, my wife just left for work, so I'm gonna grab my ipad and work on something else instead of stopping the project for the night because I can't be at my pc.
