Ok /ic/ I want to get back into traditional inks, I got out my old kit, but I need to replace some nibs, they are old and not working quite as intended anymore.
I zebra g are just fine, however I really liked going as thin as I can with lines, and can't remember what my options are in that regard, and I can't really trust my results I got from 'swatching' my nibs due to their degraded condition. also most of the nibs are american ones and I would likely have to buy japanese versions so I have 0 idea what they are called there and finding a us to japan equivalent chart/help is harder than I thought it would be
anyone able to help me in this regard?
Im looking for an all round nib, which I think is the zebra g,
I'm looking for very fine line that doesn't blow to unuseable with the lightest of touch, I shit you not I have used paint brushes that that were less sensitive than the hunt 108
and i'm looking for a nib that can easily write with and hold a decent amount of ink, something that I can practice penmanship/using a dip pen with that won't constantly need re dipping or possibly just sketching with where constant control of the nib to not stab paper is viable.
thanks in advance for any response.
