You're using a small or medium tablet because you thought that saving a few hundred dollars (a couple week's wage) was worth seriously hampering your ability to draw for the rest of your life. You should have gotten an Intuos 3, 4 or 5 Large but you've been lied to by your /beg/ peers and Wacom itself that the smaller models of tablet should even exist let alone are desirable are "all you need".
