I disagree with the other anons about it being too much, theres a time and place and you can be the one to decide if you ever want to make it more subtle.
but while some of these people are idiots, i would make sure that you arent using the grotesque as a crutch.
Draw ugly things because you want to, not because you can't draw other things.
