But, as a trade-off, your actual technical skills will progress much slower than e.g. someone who is ready to spend 2h matching *one* color with trad materials.
There's also a matter of perception: while some people may agree that tracing & such are OK, some people will actually call you a fraud, and you'll never have any control over that. And I'm pretty sure that's the reason why you posted here.
