Art is a bitch and sometimes it really does feel like it works as genetics. For example, when people start hitting the gym, doing the exact same diet and work out routine. But person 1 gets results faster than person 2.
It doesn't mean person 2 will never get results. But maybe they'll have to work harder or/and be more patient about their own rhythm of growth.
Sometimes you'll feel like you suck absolute ass and that you can't improve for shit. Others you'll feel like nothing can stop you and you're making huge leaps of progress at a time.
Make some changes in your study routine here and there. Try finding a little bit of fun in the things you're doing at least once or twice when you start doodling.
Be patient, thrust the process and yourself.
