What I find more amazing is how bold they are drawing like crap yet proudly displaying their blogs as if they're hotshit while Nips almost never plaster their watermarks on their content.

I think what you are experiencing is jealously. If you had half the confidence to post as people who draw like dog shit do you might be somewhere. Even though this is objectively a bad picture, it's out there, and some mouth breather will commission them to draw some other awful lewd image. But at least they got the ball rolling. I'm just as guilty about not posting.

Having the watermark makes it easier to find the source of an image for when the usual sites don't work, and it also makes sorting artwork that I've saved much easier.
I really can't think of a good reason for someone not to watermark their artwork, it just seems cowardly.

Our views are entirely different, I've been under the impression that putting a watermark was being a form of a narcissist and a dunning kruger. If your watermark isn't coming from a studio you work from what are you doing putting a watermark?

To me not putting a name or some other kind of watermark is similar to people who don't post their work when asked.
And then of course it's just more practical as a way for people to find their other art, so it's a win-win for the artist and fans.

If you really wanted to find more content from the same person just reverse image search the image it isn't difficult to do nowadays since everyone and their brother wants to be a celebrity.
