Anyone else have the problem of not realizing how absolutely FUCKED your drawing is/how bad you fucked up until after you post it, or a few days have passed?
Why? It hits me like a brick, and then terrifies me due to how little self-awareness I have in the moment.

Draw, analyze, learn, move on. I learned to always be prepared to lose a drawing and to never fall in love with one because if you analyzed it correctly and found your mistakes then the next pieces will always be better.

Yeah that happens to me a lot. You just need to have the mindset of this drawing wont come perfect and its okay, but Ill never repeat the same mistakes

Getting frustrated at your own work is a good thing, because you can actually see where your problems lie

Also I recomend pausing after each hour of drawing and flipping your canvas regularly

It wasn't that bad tbqh, it was a major mistake but everything else about it was decent.

Also don't get hung up too hard over a sketch, I assume this thread is for people venting about finding errors they can't/didn't fix 5+ hours in.

take time to let your art sit for a while before taking another look at it or posting it, you'll almost always be able to find errors in your work when your eyes get refreshed.
