Why has the standard art quality of popular manga dropped so much?
I understand that the sketchy simple style is popular right now among mangaka like Gege and Fujimoto but looking at some of the other manga they're like straight out of a 14 year olds pixiv account.
In the late 80s to early 2000s all the art for series was so clean and high quality. Of course there's exceptions like HxH but even then Togashi had health issues and most of YYH looked great.
