>want to post and share my work on social media
>don't want the "popularity" that comes with it, where there's now a sudden social responsibility you have to deal with
Anyone really feeling this conundrum? I think it's great to get yourself out there but in this age it feels like there's very little good that comes out of having so many eyes on you. I genuinely wish there was a way to just "lock" the amount of people who can actually engage with your work in any capacity. I want to hit that point where there's enough people who i know will appreciate and support what I put out, but not so many that I feel like I have to actively watch where I step. The internet just makes it way too easy for anyone to find you, though.
