>>5770240I'm curious about color mixing issues related to painting apps, it seems like photoshop tries to mix in an RGB kind of way at times, like with green and red, it moves towards a dark desaturated yellow if you try enough.
It kinda sucks because I'd like to use Gurney's color gamut method but I think this could sort of break it. Still, I've seen some artist do color palettes on their canvas and mix their colors no problem, so I'm not sure where to draw the line in terms of color mixing, you can blend and render but I don't think most people think what the color mixture is actually doing, so far it works but I think about Bucci's method of hue shifting depending on color temperature to go around it and have some control of hues.
