And the shows he's been involved were garbage, he was only hired because the producers already knew the show was going to be shit, so they plastered his name on it for the chance to make it sell more. He wants to climb the social ladder and get some "pro anime maker" status, so he took the job.

No they're paintovers that he said were original works. When you overlay them they match up exactly. Sometimes he would cut and slightly rotate something but when you rotate it back yet again it matches exactly.
