hey cocksuckers, how do i achieve this? i have seen all his videos and i know he's tracing, photocomping, and using CSP for filters and textures, but how the fuck does he lay down the values? is it all cross hatching? or is there a layer of midtone underneath the hatching? brush setting? should i be relying on linework, or straying from it? for some reason i do not understand what im looking at.

my best guess is it is lineart, blocked in midtone, and cross hatching on top. am i close? i guess i kinda like that dollar bill look to it idk
