If you were reading AOT you were reading it for the story, not the shitty art. Everyone knows it's not very good most of the time, and when it is its done by interns/assistants.

I've only read up to volume 3 and I just didn't like it for both characters/story and art style. Normies like to hype it as much as they can but it's just not for me and I've got a lot other actually appealing and/or comfy series to read instead now.

It’s a great aesthetic for a horror manga. Weird contorted faces and bodies, ugly backgrounds and monsters, it gets the job done. Any other story genre with this art would look fucking weird.
