Someone went through and analyzed a bunch of drawings after they were created and derived commonalities and declares that these must be the rules by which they were created, but that isn’t how it works. You can write a summary of a bunch of paintings but you can’t create a painting by applying a bunch of summaries.
It’s like you can read all the music theory in the world and identify all the chords and rhythms, but that wont enable you to create masterpieces.
Drawing all your shit by rules of thirds will make it look like ass if you don’t know what you are doing. You don’t need to know any rules before you break them. No rules, nothing to break.
