I saw a post on his Patreon saying something like "I won't be able to post work any more" but I didn't read the rest because it's for subscribers. I've considered signing up just so I can but hadn't decided yet. IIRC the last post there was from over a year ago, same with his twitter.
I don't want to assume the worst but from what I've seen of his last interactions... it's hard to believe he's surviving unless friends or family took serious and immediate action to get medical help for him.
