How do i draw large craniums/heads?

When I want to do large heads or craniums like the left, people always tell me to study heads and that I do it wrong, I can do normal human heads fine enough but I want to characters with larger heads or craniums like the left.

What am I doing wrong?

Like I said I can do normal heads fairly well or at least nobody complains about them so I assume so, but when I try to do anime ones, people tell me I'm doing it wrong.

You are impatient, and you have not experimented well enough in idealizing the head to be able to pull it off successfully. Another problem you have is foreshortening the farthest eye and drawing both eyes in a flat plane which is why proportions are thrown off at a 3/4 view while everything else is trying to be foreshortened except for the eyes. Draw more ellipses, understand how you get the ellipse and why and unironically practice the Loomis plates from successful drawing in where Loomis provides you a method for squaring the circle, and finding the ellipse in perspective.

I do, I tried learning perspective, stylisation artist do, the eyes, and tried to not make them flat. And think about the scalera, iris, and pupil and how light and shadows affect the concave dome into the eye and cornea that covers of the iris and pupil.
I can work on eyes all day long, and make them look realer and realler but I just want to know what I'm doing wrong with the cranium, yes, I make it large but I want to make it large like those artists, but I also want to know what I'm doing wrong.

The one i posted in the OP is more of an extreme example.
The eye isnt' even half way up the head, not including the hair, yet when I note these measurements and do them it looks weird.

When you do exercises like this, the goal is accuracy so you're only allowed a slight margin of error. Try overlaying your work over the original, if its off by too much, you have to reevaluate your strategy and draw again.

if you're so committed to having weird eye placement then your work absolutely needs to make up for that shortcoming elsewhere in your art, you'll probably want to focus on grinding rendering/backgrounds/composition and hope your audience either doesn't notice the exaggerated anatomy or finds the image as a whole appeal in itself

I'm still working on perspective, I've trying to more of these freehand instead of using a ruler, one exercise i do is to get a figure, put down some landmarks and notes and then draw a box in perspective, rotate it and then draw them inside it, it takes a while to do though and i struggle with pproportionsover rotating the limbs ven if i split up the box.
I'm also trying to get 3 point and fish eye right, but KI'm focusing on this first.

The only real difference I see that the characters on the left have their eyes spaced slightly further apart, making the face appear wider and thus more "kawaii" (in recent terminology).

On the right side the top left one's eyes also don't match the 3/4 view of the head which I think is wrong even in this type of animus but I may not be the best person to talk as I'm also more of a realism guy.

Draw some extremely simple anime girls that are almost flat, stop putting all these details.

If you can make it appealing with little detail, then you can apply the same thought process on the more complex version.

I think a lot could change with just some small repositioning of eyes and mouth here and there.
But there's also the hair. Keep in mind that the hair is what will define the shape of the top of the head. I would say the best you could do right now is to pay special attention, during the sketching phase, to how the head is shaped, and that the hair follows that shape.
For the record I think the pokegirl laying on the bed (shot, brown hair) has a very weird looking head.
