>>5766765sorry, im just not used to being an entrepreneur, and all the youtube videos you search up about money in comics all are pessimistic and cynical about the money you can make in comics. Hell, the first result that keeps popping up is "The Sad Truth about Making Money in Comics" by Serkwork labs, and his fucking depressed face makes me so fucking sad every time I see it. Video after video, article after article, hour after hour, year after year, people are bitching and moaning and complaining about being underpaid in comics and it's getting to me. I don't know what's reality or what's truth anymore. If anyone is getting paid for making comics, they sure as hell aren't making it known. Even the great "Jason Brubaker", who has an hour long lecture on making money in comics, droned on and on about selling merchandise, making t shirts, printing drawings on coffee mugs, doing commissions, and doing anything and everything that should've been supplemental to comics in the first place. Even big comics creators aren't being paid directly for their comics, and are making money through other means. It's asinine and backwards in my view, and it makes me just want to drop everything and move to either France, Korea, or Japan to publish comics. Fuck this gay world.
