let me tell you that i hate fucking boxes i tried to make boxes but i see nothing i cant construct that shit into anything...

Pillows on other hand feel nice to draw, do any of you use this method ?

I found the pillow method to be annoying after a while. I could never chill with how much tilt I give to the shoulders and hips as if it always had to feel like a sway from side to side. No matter how many quick gestures I did with the pillow method I felt never satisfied.

I drew maybe 5 boxes when I started pictorial art then I started drawing something more interesting because a box is nothing but a few lines and you learn next to nothing by drawing a box. I did the Brent Eviston course until he asked to draw a pillow I just never drew a pillow so I draw other things and dropped the course.

pillows, beans, bags, whatever the fuck you want to call them are just flexible boxes, if anything they are more advanced than boxes.

You hate boxes but what you post is actually tesselated boxes like pic related. You should learn Proko Beans (TM) if your box hating is true. Also point of this constructions is maintain waist position and lower-to-upper-body ratio automatically. When in standard constructions that consists of pelvis box and ribcage box with a stick between them you need to be /int/ to draw proper size of all elements. Also someone can hate on you because you don't draw ribcage and pelvis separated, because many of those who like to read anatomy books more than draw are hardwired to those mannequins with a big distance between pelvis and ribcage.
