Doesn't matter at all as long as the artist can keep their mouth shut and work diligently. So you can be a nobody, a /beg/ or elite artist as long as you're willingly to be a disposable pawn and/or trustworthy enough, if they do a background check on you. To get into their circle is hard though but once you get in, you just do art as usual except everything is done for you (promotions, living accomodations, art studio, art director connection, lux, etc) in exchange for your freedom and lifetime.
