I'm 100% sure that manga artists, and Japanese animators can't draw realism, at least not all of them, yet they produce art "good enough" to get paid for it, realism drawing is a waste of time if your only goal is to draw animu, and mango, screw Loomis, and Betty Edwards, you're welcome.
