Are there any good resources out there for learning the principles of Super Deformed and/or Chibi style? Seems like all I can find (if anything) are hand holding step-by-step guides for drawing "cute chibi girls." But there isn't anything that discusses what the conceptual basis of the style is and how to take that and apply it to other things like animals, vehicles, mecha, etc. There's enough consistency that there has to be some sort of guidelines.
