If pressure sensitivity isn't working, you probably need to either disable or enable windows ink. You'll find that option in Preferences > User Interface > Use Windows Ink
Please note that text made with the text tool does not appear in the final capture unless it's rasterized first. That is accomplished by hitting the "Merge" button in the text tool dock.
