I have ADHD and I fucking hate it God I want to die but damn does it really help me out with my art... But if you're a beginner or 30+, then I could see it being frustrating. Since we'll think about far more than what we can accomplish yet... So while the beginnings might be rough, as an int artist, I'd say it's one of my best artist assets. I'm thinking about so much more than my peers when I draw. I'm able to balance out everything and I jump around the canvas a lot.
I found embracing imperfection and getting used to just putting something down so I can go back to it later really helped my artistic growth a lot.
Good luck OP... Like the other anons said, it's not exactly all sunshine and rainbows. How everyone learns will be different, and especially moreso for someone with ADHD. But if you truly enjoy drawing, enjoy creating, and aspire to become a good artist, then I'd say you have a nice start.
