I look at photobashing as another tool in the tool box. I don't do it when I'm studying or for commissions but if I need to shit out a background or I'm doing concept art for my own ideas then sure I'll do it.

Man in feel like a real degen if i even use a reference, however my goals are making art and forget about it once im done (i dont sell or share off 4chan). Art making is an emotionally charged exoerience for me and any reference takes from the experience. Anyone else like this?

Yes, this is totally how I feel. When making art using reference the work is immediately better but it always feels like I own it less or i didn't fully make the art.

Reference became an impediment to what I think is more original, emotive art. Not sure what you are implying with the internet, I used anatomy books to learn what was inside, building from there.
