>>5747790Talent just refers to superior cognitive processes. Intelligent decisions, fast thinking, high working memory, strategic planning, visuospatial, neuroplasticity, pattern recognition, etc. All of this lies in your brain and is developed in your brain through experience and learning. There is no "spark" or "soul" in this, if all, those terms are just undescriptive terms used for the collective experience and cognitive capabilities. I think this is what being talented truly is, superior cognitive abilities complimented with interesting and supportive experiences; nothing more.
Of course physical capabilities matter in art too, such as shape of the hand, size, grip, bone density, flexibility, etc, but it doesnt matter as much as long you have normal functioning arms. it is really all you need for physical capabilities in visual art.
On another note, it is true that people learn at different paces, but what i really hate is that some people say they always end at the same stop. I dont think thats how it works. All of a sudden, how the world works is different for art, and only art. Its not like just because an average joe works harder and longer theyre going to end up at the same goal as top of the top professionals in esports. If it was quantified, people have different paces and different skill ceilings.
This type if things are very hard to accept, but it is a thing people have come to accept when they further realized that being talented than another is not everything in art. It is more of a personal journey. Art has many factors from skill, competition, journey, expression, etc, but it is better prioritized as something expressive and personal regardless of how "deep" it is. Floating loomis heads are okay as long as you enjoy it.
