How do you get the PERFECT IDEA????

I have all the talent and skill on earth... but am having trouble coming up with the perfect idea...for an oil painting.. as a thank you for one of my favorite music groups to ever exist
it has to be perfect and good enough and original

Do I pray to God?
Get high?
Meditate in the woods?
Study extensively?
Wait for it to hit me?
Take a walk and look for signs and omens to inspire me?

What do you guys usually do?
