Why did stylized and over the top character designs and art styles generally died out in manga? If you look at most popular modern series today like Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan or even Jujutsu Kaisen you can notice that the characters tend to be blander design wise, without any particular outfit/armor/fashion piece that might make them stand out instead opting for generic/average clothes, and the art style is trying to be more semi-realistic as well instead of something more stylized. What exactly happened? I have an hard time naming a currently running manga trying to be as over the top regarding character designs and art styles as something like OG Yu-Gi-Oh! or Saint Seiya were.
