>>5743505Talent can be acquired, but you have to use the right approaches.
You can't just go YOLO and just randomly doodle shit without rhyme nor reason.
First, you gotta take plenty references of the style you want to achieve.
Second, you have to use those goddamn moderfucking references, try to copy them side by side.
Third, you compare with a critical mind and try again with the same or another picture. You shouldn't waste too much on copying, fail faster, as they say.
You need to be able to copy in order to build up muscle memory. Muscle memory is not just muscle, it's also visual.
And you need that kind of memory in order to draw effectively. Pros reference from their mind, when both visual and muscle memories are developed enough, drawing becomes easier.
Your hand will slide where it's meant to without micromanagment.
And very important, using references also improves the result. A better result is better motivation, you will have learned something, get some dopamine.
Construction lines can also help you, but they work much better when you have a "feel" for anatomy.
You can reduce refs usage when you have internalized poses and anatomy, but even then you should keep them around.
(pic related example of practice you can do on drawpile, aggie, or on your own)
>>5745977Creativity is cultivated by being creative.
The only requisite is being able to feel.
There was once a time I was trying to feel nothing, and my creativity had taken a nosedive. So if you use pills that cripple your mind in that regard, that's a no-go.
I personally write an isekaishit novel on royalroad, it's good practice.
