CSP is anime industry standard. This guy (Komugiko 2000) made an anime music video for Japanese popular artist completely using iPad Pro and Clip Studio Paint. He doesn't use Procreate.

The grab detection is pretty good on the tab s7 plus, you don't really need the bezel or any extra room for grabbing the tablet. Nearly 15" will be pretty big for a tablet though.

Question: Considering these devices are OLED, will there be problems with burn in if you use CSP 3-4 hours straight where the menu is staying static on the side or lets say you need the device to show a ref image for a few hours?

So....whats the appeal of these devices? Im including the iPad in this question
I feel like a 16" Cintiq is cramped ebough, and these tablets are smaller and like double the price.
What if I want to use Photoshop and Maya, how could Android help me there?

Glorified sketchbooks on the go, but trying to use a ipad as your workstation replacement is stupid. Photoshop is ass on ios, csp is too clunky on the small screen and procreate is just okay at best.

The appeal of an ipad is the unique features of the apple pencil and procreate. It's still a gimmick and you won't be creating art to sell unless you are a woman doing instagram doodles to sell merch of or a low effort coom artist.
I think people forget this and get scammed into getting a random brand tablet without realising its useless.

I have the S7+ and the appeal for me is to do comfy doodles for 1-2 hours in bed before sleeping. It's great to explore ideas, good note taking and a nice ref holder. I don't really see a reason why people would use a tablet as a main pro device. If it has to be mobile, I would just get the new surface laptop.

A lot of pro artists use procreate as their main digital art program because it does everything they need. Procreate can even import photoshop brushes

The cheapest iPad is only a little more than $300 + $100 for apple pencil. People spend more than that on their phones nowadays

I bought a Galaxy Tab A a few years ago and as much as I love having it, it really is a piece of shit. Somehow nearly 90% of the tablet's 16GB internal storage is hogged up by shit that Samsung crammed into the thing that I can't get rid of. Even after reducing the number of apps I use to a bare minimum and clearing the caches for everything I still have, and moving all my files onto an SD card, I can never get more than 1GB of storage free. It's ridiculous.

Infinitepainter is weirdly robust, I've actually found myself wishing I had it on my desktop too from time to time
It has two big flaws though, it's a bit on the buggy side (if you transform elements and then undo/redo, it bugs out and overlaps steps sometimes) and it has no infinite canvas, which is a feature I've really come to love after using leonardo. More drawing programs NEED to get on board with infinite canvases, it's such an amazing feature for workflow.
