Most beginners would be better off copying great art than studying anatomy. Then copying Nature. Not that anatomy is useless, but, as an anon said a few days ago, this is domain-specific knowledge, like learning to draw cars; for most people it's useless.
If you really want to pursue learning anatomy, and assuming your goal is to draw from imagination, make sure you can e.g. draw a box mannequin with great ease, in any poses, turning your point of view, etc. If you can't do that, your anatomy will look poor.
Then, refine those boxes into the main major muscles groups volumes; most authors have similar simplifications in that regard, any will do. You can then keep going deeper, like, very far, but practical usage will become limited.
If your goal is *not* to draw from imagination, then you may want to trace anatomy from master copies/life/pictures.
If your goal is in between, then do both.
