the definition of drawing is "to produce (a picture or diagram) by making lines and marks, especially with a pen or pencil, on paper."
if you're doing that, you're drawing. anything about ""true"" drawing is emotion-based and removed from reality and you should kill yourself immediately

I just copy masters I want to paint like and absorb what I actually need instead of watching bullshit artists who have different outlook on art. Warm up with observing the drawings and then apply the same strokes when copying paintings. Many different excercises to improve without having to do many of what fundy grinders say you should be doing.
