There are so many different kinds of furry ocs- it’s hard to make a situation-specific piece when your audience is a wild card. Often times having it too detailed and specific can be detrimental, because the person interested in buying it may have a character that makes you have to completely redraw the ych character and/or other details, therefore undoing part of your hard work and/or not getting paid for the extra labor. Also more specific work can equal a lesser amount of interested customers. And then more specific = more money = less people afford.
There’s always a decent chance someone will really like and be able to afford the kind of work you’re looking for, but that’s harder to find. It’s sorta safer to mass produce the generic stuff. (Sorry for long text).
