>>5741016FIRST, Schiele was Austrian, not German. You make yourself look like a retard.
SECOND, what you call "classical" art (you are not using the right word, let's say "academism") has definitely been dependent on historical context and specific cultural zeitgeist throughout history. Academism arose out of a specific historical zeitgeist, out of specific artistic principles. Not out of the platonic void.
Art wasn't "the same for 2000 years", this is just factually untrue. You are either underage or retarded beyond help if you believe this.
Schiele became famous and influenced the artistic scene in his country way before his art was used for money laundering, he was part of the Vienna Secession which was extremely novel and necessary for the development of art at the time, and all of the secessionists were famous, yes, while they were still alive, not because of money laundering.
It is out of these modernist art movements that current principles of design and stylistic freedom arose. Without them, no design, no animation, no "art for art's sake". You don't get to choose the colors, you don't get to choose the subject, you don't get to draw what you want or what you like, and you have no right to be inspired by art paradigms outside of what you have been taught either. I am not denying the usefulness of academism. Academism gave us excellency of technique and modernism gave us creative freedom of experimentation, now we have to use both to our full artistic advantage. If you are content with not having artistic freedom of choice you are a monkey and a moral slave. The Secession gave us beautiful, sensual, nature-inspired art nouveau as well, so you have no right to speak of degeneracy. Would you consider the art nouveau in pic related as degenerate? Yet it was revolutionary at that time for people to make visuals in this style.
You do not know history and are absolutely talking out of your ass. Your post is not a defence, it is laughable at best.
