>>5745113yea the Udemy one. If you go on Eviston's site, he normally has coupons up that let you buy them for ~12 bucks.
The main problem I'm seeing is the lack of daily practice. How do you feel about committing to drawing just 5 min a day?
>I'm an impatient personArt is gonna be a looooong ass grind. Like on the order of years / decades, not weeks or months. I'm impatient too, but I've had to let go. Ironically enough, when I became more patient I improved faster.
I disagree with Feng's approach to 12 hr days. Watch this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhonIViuH8IFocus on the portions where Anthony talks about "artistic debt". You need to start paying that off, now. I'd say and endgoal of ~3 hrs a day is a good target, you can get a lot done in 3 hrs.
Now that i know you're interested in concept art, I see a fork in the road.
Option 1: self-study
- watch eviston and do projects
Option 2: brainstorm/cgma + projects
- if you have disposable income, brainstorm/cgma courses (these run for ~700 dollars) will probably be the most direct route to your goal. They'll be structured, provide homework, hone your digital skills, and most importantly, give you valuable, actionable feedback so you improve quickly.
One of the above is going to resonate with you more. Stop thinking and just execute. You can do this, just need to get the ball rolling and inertia will work with you instead of against you.
