from my 3 years of drawing, I can say this
the simplified anatomy books and books that portray the spesific body part in all 360degrees have helped the most.
my experience with drawing have been some of the hardest of all the things i have learned.
cause the overall teaching styles along with available material is garbage.
I have made it my mission to release an artbook. that will easily for better or worse,
Make it easy to learn stuff.
My biggest success soo far have been, copying the given body part soo i can reproduce it without refrence, you will soon learn that this is quiet a challenge.
and along with this relization you will know, most people use a SHIT ton of refrences, or tracing then drawing over the tracing.
cause the human body compared to most other stuff, is a rather complex geometrical figures, with a lot of different quirks.
