Am I supposed to be good at color "by second nature/intuition" naturally or if I'm relatively new at it can I learn it by practice? And is color theory necessary or something NGMI learn? Like can a colorlet get anywhere if he learns color theory?

I think color theory come into use when you have reached a certain progression level with your drawings. It's like the icing on the cake. No one cares about the color if your drawings looks like shit.

I've found most of the dude look monochromatic split contrast harmonic :))))) hue only shit useless desu, but maybe I'm not good enough to get use of that yet.
Concentrate more on values and how saturation can be used to balance colors.

start with painting exactly what you see in real life then you can worry about color theory after you've mastered that basic requirement

color theory is just intuitive, which is 99% based on your mental library of what colors look good with other colors. there's nothing you can consciously do about it in the moment, but just look at a shitload of art with interesting colors and it'll slowly make sense over time.

pay close attention to what's actually going on with the colors, since your eye isn't effectively telling you. grey will look blue next to orange, for example

you arent supposed to just be good.
i recommend reading gurney's light and color, it made things click for me. and it's free on the internet archive. color theory makes everything better :)
