I just went today and it was pretty fun. Seeing art on a screen doesn't do the piece justice.

Does any one else go to museums regularly?

Most of the Sargent, Bargue, and ARC wankers from the past were just using them as study source because everyone wanted to be concept artists. For some reason these kinds of artists were popular with fundy grinding concept artists of early /ic/.
Even if they were genuine, focusing on the very latest of what can be considered "traditional western art" is hardly traditional.
