This is pretty nice and a great concept, anon.
It's still a bit amateurish, but I think these kind of "illustrated poetry" could be really nice with an old "persan" style

The form is called emblems, and the text specifically are epigrams, but they can be separate without accompanying the other.

This is very comfy OP. As someone who enjoys fine prose and fine art, this appeals to me. It also kind of reminds me of Eric Carole’s stuff in an odd way. Possibly childrens’ book vibes?
