You need to identify exactly what it is that's holding you back
are you afraid you won't be able to pull off the comm?
are you afraid you won't get any orders?
are you afraid you're going to get scammed?
are you afraid you'll take too long on the comm and you can't do it fast enough?
One thing that helped me in a similar situation was by doing a pretend commission.
I looked at an image I liked, and wrote down the description of it as if it were a commission request, and then drew it, treating it exactly like it was a comm.
That got me to a position where I was confident that I could do the comm no matter what and there was no longer any reason to hold off from opening
