>>5729790I thought the same when I was younger. But now I like to get compliments from anybody. There are some people who don't know anything about art but they are still able to express what they like or dislike. If they like what I do it's stil a win.
I also love to speak about art with neophytes because I love to share what moves me about art. After each discussion, I feel they understand me a little bit more. But sure, I can have deeper conversations with people who have some knowledge about that. That's not better, that's just different.
The worst people to discuss art with are those who think that it's an easy and childish hobby, not a real work. Some are so stubborn they don't deserve wasting time with them.
